It is my creative vision, technical expertise, and years of experience that bring my projects to life. My areas of accomplishment include: graphic design, web design and programming, animation, digital photography, and databases. I have been working in Internet development since 1995.
I began my internet career in 1995 when I published my first web site for The World Heritage Museum at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. The site was simple, using basic HTML markup and self composed and manipulated digital photos taken with a digital camera (yes, there were digital cameras in 1995). As I became more involved in the internet, I began to look for new opportunities within the University.
I became a team member of the Web Technology Group at the University. I worked on several projects, including planning an online community to support the University’s Statewide Education program. We were one of the first in the country to offer online courses for college credit. I was brought to the team to develop styles and interface for the database driven online course catalog.
In March of 1997, I co-founded a web design company providing quality web designs to small businesses and organizations in the Urbana-Champaign area. As we grew, it was in our destiny to move to a fresh new market—San Diego, at that time hailed “the digital coast.”
My experiences run the gamut. I am able to put myself in your market’s shoes and design from a place that few are able to go. I have the ability to understand your business and project goals, and transform them into creative, strategic, and effective results.
